STUFF IT!: Flatten the ground beef with your palm to form a rectangle. You want it pretty thin. Place the hot dog on top of the beef rectangle. Wrap the beef around the dog and secure it. Leave the ends open. Microwave the bacon for about 45 seconds. This is going to get the bacon started cooking so it crisps up on the burger before the whole thing becomes overcooked and dried out. Finally, wrap the bacon around the beef in a spiral. It should adhere to itself without much trouble.

COOK IT: Put the ends of the bacon side down on the grill first just to help them stay better. Grill the frank-in-burger on all sides until the bacon is crispy, the meat is cooked and dog is heated through, about 10 to 15 minutes on medium heat. Serve on the bun with the mustard and onion.
